Been a while since I've uploaded. Tried something slightly different. Sketch done in graphite - painted in Corel Painter X using Wacom Intuos. ........didn't at first say much about this one - wanted to see the reactions first. Amazing how spot-on many comments have been so far. I started this piece at a time when my creative muse was pouting at not being taken note of (I have been doing too many boring labels and other commericial jobs that are not particularly indusive to letting one's imagination go 'bossies' (as we say here in South Africa). This started with the eye (as many of my drawing do) and developed from there. The surreal feel was intentional - a style I really enjoy. The painting - something new too - quicker and more free flowing than my usual. The character, I suppose has something of me in it and the title was semi tongue-in cheek. I allowed this piece to develop as my muse saw fit - doing it for her and me - just having fun together. The amber ball - well..... if you ever come across one exactly like it - it's mine  ...hence the name.Lastly, a friend of mine  came up with the name 'Amber Ties' - perfect!!
