PAIN

The days they merge, they're all the same
A tireless fog of endless pain
That drains away all our resolve
But in the end does nothing solve
And when there seems no end in sight
Don't give up, you'll win the fight
For though the pain you cannot share
Your life is touched by those who care
And as your strength is sapped away
The sun will greet another day
To find your pain at last has gone
An illness healed, a battle won
The joyfulness of being cured
And knowledge of how you've endured
Will teach you kindness, give insight
So you may help others whose plight
Does mirror that which you went through
That gave you strength, that made you, you.

I dedicate this angel firstly to who bravely fought the battle and won! And who continues to inspire us all.
Secondly to all my special friends out there on DA who are struggling with illness and pain. My heart goes out to you!
